History:
The West Indies Cricket Team is one of the most successful and popular cricket teams in the world. The team is make up of players from the Caribbean islands, and is currently rank 9th in the world. The team has won the Cricket World Cup twice, in 1975 and 1979, and has also been successful in other international tournaments. The West Indies cricket team is know for its exciting and attacking style of play, and is always a popular choice with fans.
The West Indies cricket team always holds a special place in the hearts of all cricket fans. It was an era that saw many world-class West Indies cricketers emerge and write their names in the record books.
It was around this time that the West Indies cricket team claimed the inaugural World Cup in 1975 became the first team to win backtoback World Cups in 1979. West Indies WI Cricket was paying $300,000 per year where each player gets ₹2.08 crore across all formats. In addition, a white-ball contracted cricketer is paid $250,000 annually. In addition, cricketers who are under contract with Red Ball are paid $200,000 per season.
