The United Arab Emirates National Cricket Team has been a member of the International Cricket Council since 1989. The team has made three appearances in the Cricket World Cup, in 1996, 2015 and 2019. The sport’s highest governing body, the International Cricket Council, prepares a schedule for Test-playing nations, requiring them to play at least two bilateral series (one at home and one away) against each other over a 10-match period.
