Moeen Ali is an English cricketer who has been main All-rounder of the England men’s national cricket team since 2014 so far. He was born on 18 June, 1987 in Birmingham England. Ali was part of England’s 2019 World Cup squad that won the title for the first time.
Ali is of Kashmiri descent & 2 generations ago his grandfather migrated to England team. His grandfather lived in Mirpur. His grandmother was Betty Cox, of British descent. Apart from English, Moin can also understand Urdu & Punjabi, he can speaks.

Moeen Ali IPL Career
Moeen Ali was roped in by Regal Challengers Bangalore for 1.70 crores in the 2018 Mega Auction. In 2018, Moeen Ali played 5 matches and scored 77 runs and also took 3 wickets. In 2019, Moeen Ali played 11 matches and scored 220 runs, helping RCB in their run. IPL season 2020 was not good for Ali, he played only 3 matches and was a disappointment. He was released by RCB (Royal Challengers Banglore) after 2020.
In 2021, Moeen Ali was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for 7 crores INR. He played in each of the 15 matches in the season and scored 357 runs in the season. Ali continued to play in the middle order for CSK. In Tata IPL 2022, Moeen Ali was retained by Chennai Super Kings for an incredible Rs 8 crore ahead of the mega auction.
