ABOUT ABBOTTABAD BOARD
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Abbottabad (Abbottabad Board) was created in 1990 and before its establishment it was part of BISE Peshawar. Since its inauguration it has been conducting matriculation and inter examinations for all students of secondary and higher secondary level. There are two main branches functioning and one is responsible for handling all educational matters at the secondary level while the other looks after the higher secondary level.
The board has jurisdiction over Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Bitgram and Kohistan districts. All students from these areas get registered with the board and apply for the secondary and higher secondary annual examinations. If a candidate fails to clear the annual examinations, he/she can re-appear in the supply examination.
