Abrar Ahmed Career
Domestic Career
Abrar Ahmed made his domestic cricket debut in 2016 when he played for Karachi under-19. In 2017, Abrar was selected for Pakistan Super League by Karachi Kings. 20 November 2020 He made his first-class debut against Sindh, South Punjab in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
In 2021 he made his List A debut for Pakistan Shaheen against Sri Lanka A. On 9 December 2022, Abrar opened the Test series for Pakistan against England in the second Test match. Abrar took 7 wickets in this match. After taking seven wickets in this series, his performance gained much popularity.
International Career
In December 2022, Ahmed made his debut for Pakistan in the second Test of the series against England. He became the first Pakistani bowler to take 5 wickets in the first session of a Test debut, taking 7 wickets for a total of 114 runs. He also became the thirteenth Pakistani bowler to take five wickets on Test debut.
