David Jonathan Willey is an English international cricketer. He is a left handed batter & bowler. He is the son of former England cricketer & international umpire Peter Willey. Willey was a member of the England team that won the 2022 T20 World Cup.

David Willey Domestic Career
David played his first game against his father’s old club Leicestershire. He scored 60 runs in his first innings with Andrew Hall.
Phil Edwards, his first wicket. This was his second 1st class cricket match against Kent team.
In 2009, playing a T20 match against It in Twenty20 Worcestershire, he had a sensational spell, taking three wickets only for 9 runs. He finished the season with an average of 11.30.
Representing Northamptonshire in the 2013 Life T20 final against Surrey, David took 4 for 9.
David Willey International Career
David Willey made his ODI debut for England on 8 May, 2015 against Ireland. He dismissed Andy Balburnie for his first wicket in international cricket. However, the match was later canceled due to rain.
He made the England squad for the series against New Zealand in June 2014. He played the last three matches of the series and took seven wickets. Willy was getting the runs but also taking the wickets which helped his team to win the series 3-2.
He made his T20I debut on 23 June 2015 where he helped his team to victory with figures of 3–22.
