Haris Rauf Domestic Career
He joined the cricket team of International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad where he was also studying. He then appeared at the Lahore Qalandars trail in Gujranwala &was spotted by Aqib Javed, who insisted that he play more cricket in Australia, after which he was selected for the Lahore Qalandars(LQ) for the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20.
In March 2019, Rauf was selected in Balochistan’s squad for the 2019 Pakistan Cup and then in September 2019, he was selected in Northern’s team squad for the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament. He made his first-class debut for Northern. 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 28 September 2019. October 2019, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced him as one of 6 players to watch ahead of the 2019–20 National T20I Cup Event.
In December 2019, after playing for the Glenorchy Magpies only in Tasmania grade cricket in Australia, he then joined the Melbourne Stars for the 2019–020 Big Bash League season as a replacement for the injured Dale Steyn (SA Bowler). He took 5 wickets in his second T20I match against the Hobart Hurricanes. January 2020, he scored a hattrick against the Sydney Thunder team, becoming the 1st Pakistani in the BBL & the 1st Melbourne Stars bowler to do so. Harris also played a cricket season in England 200 after signing with Yorkshire County Cricket Club in December 2021.
Haris Rauf International Career
After an exceptional performance in the domestic circuit, Harris caught the eye of the national team selectors during the team selection for the tour of Bangladesh in January 2020. After that, he had to wait two years for his ODI debut against Netherlands in August 2022. He has not yet played Test cricket for Pakistan.

Haris Rauf scored a hat-trick with the fastest ball hitting 159 kmph during the T20 match against England. He is the seventh and second Pakistani bowler in the world to achieve this feat after The Legend Shoaib Akhtar.
