History:
The South Africa National Cricket Team , nicknamed the Proteas, is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. The team is administer by Cricket South Africa (CSA). South Africa is a full member of the ICC with Test and ODI status. It played its first Test match in 1889 and its first ODI match in 1991.
South Africa Cricket Players Salary
A cricketer joining the Test team will get $4,500 per match and $1,200 for ODIs. While the players involved in the shortest format of cricket will get $800 match fee. South African cricketers will also receive a match fee in addition to their central contract retainer fee.
