HBL PSL is a Pakistani T20 franchise-based league that is held every year. Six teams representing different cities of Pakistan include Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans. Players from all over the world register themselves for the PSL draft and then the franchises pick them in various categories to complete their squad. We will discuss PSL players salaries, contract details and price list.
The current season of PSL 9 is going to start in February next year. This is preceded by a draft in which players are selected and paid according to their category. The contract will be made after the draft and the money is usually transferred to the player’s bank account. We will share with you the complete details of PSL 8 players salary.
There are different categories like Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. Prices and salaries vary by category.
About PSL
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is an annual Pakistani T20 league played in February–March. Like the IPL, the PSL also consists of franchise-based teams with players from different countries. This year, unlike previous years, the list of players who have joined the PSL on massive contracts tops the list. PCB has recently revealed the salaries of PSL 2024 players and their contracts with the teams.
PSL was introduced by the Pakistan Cricket Board in 2015. The league initially consisted of only 5 teams but was later expanded to 6 teams in 2017. The current season, PSL 2024 is scheduled to end on June 24, 2024 with the final match.

The third salary category in this list is reserved for gold players. As was the case with the previous two categories, each franchise has the right to pick three players in the category, but in the latest draft, Lahore Qalandars got an extra one in the alternate round.
