History:
In 1952., Pakistan became a PARTNER of the International Cricket Council .. But today the cities of Pakistan LIKE Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad,etc are hosting cricket matches before 1952. The first international cricket match in Pakistan was played in Karachi in 1935. After becoming an independent country in 1947, the game of cricket saw tremendous growth in the country. He played his first Test match in 1952 against India in Delhi.
Pakistan Performances In ICC ODI World Cup
Pakistan has played in every World Cup since the first edition in 1975. So far their only win was in 1992 under the captaincy of Imran Khan. They were runners up in 1999, losing to Australia in the final. He has co-hosted the tournament twice in 1987 & 1996.
