Domestic Career
In Nov, 2010, Usman was part of the team for the Asian Games in Guangzhou (China City), China. China won the bronze medal in the third-place play-off against Sri Lanka.
The player was persuaded to move back to Australia by Darren Barry, he played for the Adelaide Cricket Club in South Australia during 2013–2014. In September 2018, Qadir signed a contract to play for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League as an out-of-state player.
International Career
In October 2019, he was included in Pakistan’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against Australia but did not participate. Then, in January 2020, he was again included in Pakistan’s T20I squad and this time, to play against Bangladesh.
In October 2020, the team was selected in the 22-man squad with “probable” status for Pakistan’s home series against Zimbabwe. On 29 October 2020, he was selected as part of the Pakistan One Day International (ODI) squad for the opening game against Zimbabwe.
