The upcoming Cricket Asia Cup 2023 will be the 16th edition of the 50 Overs Asia Cup & will be played entirely in Pakistan. This will be the first time that Pakistan will host the cup alone, as in the previous editions, it acted as the joint host. The tournament will see 6 teams fighting for the beautiful trophy as the Asia Cup 2023 final will be played on 17 September, 2023 in Sri Lanka.
Asia Cup 2023 Bangladesh Squad
Four matches of Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan while the remaining nine matches of the tournament will be played in Sri Lanka. Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced the 18-member squad for the upcoming Afghanistan ODI and Asia Cup 2023 series under the leadership of Babar Azam.
Young batsman Shamim Patwari, who represents Bangladesh in T20Is, got his first call-up to the ODI squad which also saw the return of Mehdi Hasan, who last played against New Zealand in Wellington in 2021.

Bangladesh Cricket Team Batting Line-Up
Veteran Shakibul Hasan will captain Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2023. Undoubtedly, Bangladesh has improved rapidly under his captaincy. Shakib is always known for his coolness on the field even in difficult situations.
